We’ve released our updated line graph, which is so much cleaner and more useful than the previous line graph.
A New Tooltip
The most useful change is the addition of the tooltip that pops up as you scroll across the graph. The tooltip displays the date, metric, and value for that day.
Its usefulness really starts to come into play when you segment your data (either geographically or by device info). Now when you scroll over a day, the tooltip will display the value of each segment separately.
Speaking of segments, the way we display segments is also improved. They sit at the top, and you can activate or deactivate a segment by clicking on its indicator. If you double click on a segment indicator, all of the other segments will be deactivated. You can click on the indicator again to reactivate the other segments, or you can click on the other segments individually to reactive them as desired.
The graph’s y-axis will auto-scale depending on the segments you have activated. If you deactivate the segment with the highest value, the y-axis will auto-scale down to the next-highest segment. Deactivating segments with lessor values will not cause the y-axis scale to change.
Head over to your dashboard, give the new line graph a spin, and let me know what you think about it!
